Achieving my dreams

                                 Dream Job : Rubbish Girl

  1. Who do you think could help you to achieve this dream?

I think my family would because they love me and they care about me.

My dream job is to become a rubbish girl because Rubbish can cause a lot of bad things and because I don’t like to see rubbish everywhere on the streets or in the ocean.

Holidays

This Winter break was so fun. I went bowling with my auntie and uncle and went to the cinemas to watch The new minions  with my family and also my cousins too.And also we went to a place called back to school. my mum said there was popcorn, a lot of games and a lot of tvs too and also we got a lot of books and pens.  After church we went to go look at the fireworks where the library was. It was so nice and I could finally relax.

And last last Saturday was my birthday. It was sunday me and my family went to my nana’s house to celebrate it and then on wednesday that was the time we went to the cinemas. I felt sad for the people that owned the cinemas because a lot of people and us made a lot of mess .And also when we were bowling we had to run everywhere because of my baby cousin she’s cute but naughty.

Paper Weaving

Today me and my class made Paper weaving. Paper Weaving is very easy to learn and it is also fun to make.Making paper weaving  may take a lot of time but it is also fun and exciting. all you need is 2 papers that are the same size and you also need scissors a ruler and a pen and that all then when you have it you fold the paper and then make a line and then make more lines and then cut it but the other way then you get your other paper and make lines and then cut it and then you have to put the paper up and down and then keep on doing it with your other paper and then your done.

Matariki and southern light art

Today we painted the Southern Lights for Matariki. We are celebrating matariki on 24 june  in New Zealand. Matariki is a Maori New Year celebration This year for the first time it is a public holiday

What did you enjoy about the painting? When I was painting I really Liked to paint the brown paper and when we did the black paper I liked to do the stars with the toothbrushes.

What was easy and what gave you problems? When I was doing the stars it was very easy and when I was ripping the black paper it was a little hard because I am not really good at cutting and ripping things.

What art would you like to do next? When i searched on google for matariki arts i saw one art that looked really beautiful and it was called reach for the stars it was really nice so that the one i wanna do next
